Participation Conditions

General:
Proposals must show a close connection to the central theme of the event and be articulated around one or two of the guiding concepts: Small Data and Embodiment. Positive consideration will be given to the use of and/or reflections on open processes and technologies. Selected participants must adhere to the event's code of conduct.


Oral Presentations:
Submitted works may encompass artistic practices in digital, audiovisual, and sound formats, proposals based on bodily experimentation, as well as theoretical and scientific research. Oral contributions may be recorded on video by the UOC and will be part of a publicly accessible videographic archive of the event. Four to five oral contributions will be selected for each guiding concept (Small Data and Embodiment). Once the event has concluded, contributions may be developed as Short Papers and included in a publication edited by Axolot.cat and the DARTS research group. A fee of €100 will be provided as an honorarium, and an invoice will be required.


Performances:
Performances may include experimentation with electronic circuits, audiovisual materials, creative programming, and other types of technological systems. Performances will take place in a multipurpose room. Performances must include a technical rider. The Axolot.cat team will provide technical support during the setup and breakdown of performances. A fee of €400 will be provided as an honorarium, and an invoice will be required.
